Recently Zaporizhzhya National University hosted the International Scientific Conference "Technology transfer: Realities and Prospects". During the event, participants reviewed the research a number of issues relating to legislation in the field of technology transfer, commercialization of scientific research tools, innovative youth entrepreneurship, and agreed to establish a regional industrial technology platform based on Zaporizhzhya National University.

Ukrainian universities partner project Tempus «Supporting innovation through improved legislation on higher education in Ukraine" 530158-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-SE-TEMPUS-SMHES developed a model Regulation on patenting and commercial use of research results to higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
"Support to innovation by improving the legislation in the field of higher education in Ukraine" 530158-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-SE-TEMPUS-SMHES implemented by a consortium of Ukrainian and European universities led by the University of Lund (m. Lund Kingdom of Sweden). Among the participants of the project - three universities of the Republic of Poland, the UK, the Portuguese Republic, five Ukrainian universities, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Ukrainian three non-academic partners.
