This company JSC "Crimea TITAN" is full of tailings pond area of ??45 square meters. kilometers, and the company «Sumyhimprom" Ukraine for many years accumulated in the form of sulphate of iron (II) - iron sulfate FeSO4 doped with sulfuric acid over 2 million tons of industrial waste production of titanium white. Attempts waste containing ferrous sulphate is not extended to the production by the absence of cost-effective process.

Next, the company producing phosphate fertilizers accumulated a large amount of industrial waste - phosphogypsum. Methods of processing this waste for discharge him concentrate of rare earth elements (REE) did not give significant economic effect.

The authors treated waste iron sulfate (II) FeSO4 sulfuric acid in the presence of compounds of manganese dioxide or manganese oxide ore (you can concentrate manganese ore grade A or first grade, or sinter-AMS 1, AMS-2, AMS-3) with the addition of potassium chloride sodium, magnesium or ammonium and received commodity products such as chlorine, potassium sulfate, sodium, magnesium or ammonium sulphate, iron (III) Fe (SO4) 3 and manganese.

The use of manganese in the waste production and obtaining pure manganese sulphate, allowed to use this process to a new purpose - Recycling manganese.

Chlorine used for a simple technology of sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. Next, using ammonia and hydrochloric acid from phosphogypsum waste product obtained calcium chloride, ammonium sulfate and concentrate REE.

Innovation that first appeared feasibility study is not only beneficial recycling of ferrous sulphate as waste products from passing additional production of fertilizers, but also cost-effective way of recycling phosphate fertilizers production - phosphogypsum with a fair-mixed calcium chloride and ammonium sulphate .
